The English Charity Commissioners have agreed that British nationals paying UK tax can make gifts for the benefit of Harvard Business School through the British Friends for appropriate educational purposes and claim UK tax relief on their donations.
The British Friends of Harvard Business (registered charity no: 1000531) was set up by the Harvard Business School Club of London in 1990 to raise funds for British students to attend Harvard Business School. The scholarships are awarded through the US-UK Fulbright Commission. Donations may also be made to HBS.
Donations to the British Friends are eligible for gift aid providing that person pays UK taxes under the gift aid scheme.
